Yakutia Technopark is a large facility that accommodates more than 167 resident companies, covering an area of 20,816 m². The products manufactured by the technopark are supplied to 32 cities and around the world. The key areas of resident activities are IT, energy conservation and efficiency, biotechnology, agrotechnology and biomedical technology, construction, transportation infrastructure.
Companies are provided with scientific advice and assistance in production start-up and testing. Yakutia Technopark has the status of a regional operator of the Skolkovo Foundation and is among the top ten Russian technoparks. The infrastructure complex of Yakutia Technopark includes a biotech laboratory, a regional engineering centre, Yakutsk IT Park and a branch in the city of Neryungri.
Ykt Geek Fest is one of the largest geek culture festivals in the Far East. It was founded in 2014. It covers the entire pop culture that the residents of Yakutia are interested in: cinema, games, books, TV series, comics, subcultures, hobbies, new technologies, music, design - all forms of creativity.
The festival brings together exhibitions, competitions, lectures, workshops, presentations and a great deal of interactive entertainment. But the main highlight of the event is the cosplay contest. Ykt Geek Fest is an annual meeting place for popular bloggers and cosplayers.
